Product Description:

Laser video extensometer refers to the processing of optical photos or videos through sub-pixel segmentation and computer algorithms to obtain the amount of displacement change and strain value between any two points.

The principle is to obtain the change of the position of the reflective strip by scanning the reflective strip with laser at high frequency in advance, and then get the displacement change and strain value between the reflective strip. The extensometer is equipped with a high speed and high accuracy data acquisition and processing system, and a communication system that can support various types of testing machines. It can be widely used in the study of mechanical properties and behavior of materials and parts. It is particularly useful for applications where the use of conventional extensometers is limited, such as non-conventional materials, confined space, harsh environment and other occasions.
