Types of Electronic Universal Testing Machine
The electronic universal testing machines produced by our company mainly include the following types:
Digital Display Tensile Testing Machine
It is applicable for tensile, compression, bending, shear and low cycle testing of various materials. It is suitable for metal, rubber, plastic, spring, textile and component testing.
Ring Stiffness Testing Machine
The machine adopts a double-space door structure. The upper space is stretched, and the lower space is compressed and bent. The beam can be raised and lowered steplessly.
Rubber Tensile Testing Machine
Rubber Tensile Testing Machine is an instrument that measures the tensile strength and ductility of rubber and other elastomeric materials by applying a stretching force until the specimen breaks.
Features of Electronic Universal Testing Machine
Exceptional Load Measurement
EUTMs are equipped with advanced load cells that measure applied forces with remarkable precision. These machines typically offer accuracies ranging from ±0.3% to ±1% of the reading, with many models achieving accuracies better than ±0.5%.
Accurate Displacement Control
Beyond force measurement, EUTMs provide precise control over displacement. Some models offer displacement accuracies within ±0.5% of the indicated load.
Diverse Testing Capabilities
EUTMs are designed to perform a wide array of tests, including tensile, compression, bending, transverse, and shear tests. This versatility makes them suitable for evaluating various materials, from metals and polymers to textiles and composites.
Rapid Test Execution
EUTMs can apply and adjust loads swiftly, significantly reducing the time required for each test. This efficiency enhances productivity, especially in high-throughput testing environments.
Intuitive Control Systems
Featuring user-friendly interfaces with touchscreens and programmable settings, EUTMs simplify operation. Operators can easily set parameters, monitor tests, and retrieve results without extensive training.
Seamless Software Integration
EUTMs often come with compatible software that facilitates real-time data visualization, analysis, and reporting. This integration enhances user experience and ensures efficient data management.

Operating Steps of Electronic Universal Testing Machine
Step 1: Sample Preparation and Clamping
The first step in operating a universal testing machine is preparing the test specimen and securely clamping it into place. The sample is usually prepared in compliance with specific standards, such as ASTM or ISO. Depending on the type of test, the specimen may vary in size and shape.
Step 2: Applying the Force
Once the specimen is securely clamped to the EUTM, the machine applies force. The type of force—tensile (pulling), compressive (pushing), or other—depends on the nature of the test. The EUTM’s actuator, which may be hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical, controls the movement of the crosshead that applies the force.

Step 3: Measuring the Response
As the EUTM applies force to the specimen, the next critical step is accurately measuring the material's response. This involves two key components: the load cell, which measures the force being applied, and extensometers (or displacement transducers), which track how much the sample deforms under stress.
Step 4: Analyzing and Recording the Data
After the EUTM applies force and measures the sample’s response, the final step is analyzing and recording the collected data. This step is critical for understanding the material's mechanical properties, as it provides insights into how the material performs under stress.
