Main uses and features

YYT-500 portable rock direct shear testing machine (portable rock and soil mechanical properties multi-function tester) is mainly used for the mechanical properties test of rock and soil. By replacing various fixtures, the following different tests can be completed:

Rock deformation test;

Rock compressive strength test;

Rock tensile strength test;

Rock point load strength test (It can complete the compression and tensile tests of medium to small different diameter cores and irregular samples of domestic drilling rigs.). The minimum compressive strength can be tested to 5Mpa (soft rock), and the maximum can be tested to any hard rock);

Direct shear test of complete rock (suitable for medium to small diameter cores of drilling rigs and rectangular cylinders with a cross section of 5cmX5cm);

 

Direct shear test of rock structure surface and weak rock (suitable for irregular samples that are not easy to be processed and formed);

Soil direct shear test (it directly tests the shear resistance index of drilling coring soil, the shear area can be larger than the area of the ring cutter);

Direct shear test of crushed rock soil in natural or saturated state (sand crushed rock soil with gravel particle size ≤ 2.0cm).

The instrument has the characteristics of reasonable design, compact structure, fine processing, small size, light weight, detachable packing, easy handling, easy installation on site, easy to use, fast test, convenient maintenance and low price. Therefore, it can be widely used in field tests of engineering geological survey teams, test teams, colleges and universities, and scientific research units.

Suitable for sample size;

1) Rock deformation and compressive strength test: Ф50mm～56mm or 50m×50mm, H=100～112mm;

2) Rock tensile strength test: Ф=50～56mm, H=50～56mm;

3) Rock point load strength test: L, W, H are all 40-60mm, and the six end faces are as parallel as possible;

4) Direct shear test of complete rock (regular sample): Ф=50mm, 56mm, 71.5mm, 90mm and other cylinders, H=50～100mm; cross section 50mm×50mm square cylinder;

5) Direct shear test of structural surface and weak rock (irregular sample): L≤160mm, W≤140mm, H≤160mm;

6) Soil direct shear test: Ф=90mm, H=30mm;

7) Crushed soil direct shear test: Gravel particle size ≤ 2.0cm, shear box volume L=160mm, W=140mm, H=160mm, V=35cm3.
